Breeding facility (stud)

There are about 30 hectares (74 acres) of pasture ground with large-scale shelters and properly fenced. Small herds of 5 – 7 mares (with and without foals), young horses for rearing, loyal summer guests, and competition horses needing some reconvalescence roam this spacious area.

Great importance is given to daily free run in the pasture or in a pen in winter time.

Mares and foals always have free access to grass during the green seasons, in addition to that lactating mares, foals, and all the young horses are fed highly mineralized supplements satifying their individual needs.

Our very special attention is directed towards the foals getting used to being handled as early as possible, e.g. to being led or to have their hooves done.
